JOB DESCRIPTION

He/She responsible for designing, implementing, and managing complex network and security infrastructures. He/she will support in robust protection against cyber threats while maintaining optimal network performance and reliability. His/her role involves advanced troubleshooting, integrating security measures, and developing strategies for risk mitigation.

Key responsibilities

• Configuring, managing, monitoring and maintaining, troubleshooting a large enterprise network with hands on experience on LAN /WAN infrastructure including Routers, Switches, WiFi, VPN (IPSEC/GRE).
• Network architecture and Internet Security in a large multi-location enterprise organization with hands on experience on LAN /WAN infrastructure.
• Managing LAN, WLAN, WAN circuits and protocols (Ethernet, Wireless, MPLS).
• Take ownership of technical issues of any complexity with minimal need for supervision or assistance.
• Ensure thorough implementation of security procedures through physical measures, operating system, and industry security standards.
  Work closely with different business project teams, Windows, Linux, DBA and IT.
• Documentation procedures as per the corporate security standards on all systems
• Monitor all systems for high availability.
• Work with infrastructure development to ensure products are developed in ways that meet customer requirements.
• Respond to escalated issues from the Help Desk team.
• Provide expert technical support to investigate and resolve complex issues

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCES AND COMPETENCIES

Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.

Experience

• 8 years and above experience on designing and hands on experience of network design and implementation or in similar role.

Skills and Certifications

• Expertise in IPSEC VPN, GRE tunnels, IDPS.
• Understands Ether channel, Switching, Trunks, VLAN Tags
• Knowledge on Silver peaks WAN and optimization.
• Expertise on Cisco hardware (Nexus and Catalyst), Arista or Juniper, Routing with switching administration, including interface configuration, routing protocols, network workflow, ACLs configure and troubleshoot network connectivity.
• Worked on ACI Fabric, DC Fabric
• Must have through knowledge of Dynamic IP Routing protocols (OSPF, BGP)
• In-depth knowledge of network management, configuration, QoS, capacity planning and ability to independently analyze, configure and troubleshoot networks.
• Knowledge and understanding of
  • System engineering with emphasis on load balancing or network.
  • Principles and practices involved in designing, constructing, installing, maintaining, and operating Application Delivery Controllers (Load Balancing).
  • Installation environments utilizing three-tiered architecture including web servers, app servers and database servers.
• CCIE Security or Any other Network Security Products Expert level certification is required.

COMPENSATION
The gross compensation budgeted for the position is ranging INR 10 to 12 lakhs per annum (LPA). The offer made to the selected candidate shall be commensurate with skills, qualifications, certifications, trainings, experience and salary history.
