JOB DESCRIPTION
This is a full-time role for seeking a dynamic Associate Manager Merchandise Sales (T- shirts, Bags & accessories made of rPoly). Our reputed client is growing and developing a B2B merchandise portfolio made out of recycled polyester and is looking to aggressively grow pan India within corporate, institutions, brands and e-commerce. The primary role would be to generate sales of T-shirts , bags , backpacks and accessories made of recycled polyester with a environmental and social story. He/she has to engage with corporate, institutions, e-com players and apparel brands to generate sales .
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Achieve given sales targets of Merchandize (T-shirts, Bags & accessories made of rPoly).
- Develop a strong pipeline of customers with clear visibility of sales projections for the year.
- Generate leads across various verticals including corporate, institutions, brands and e-com platforms by cold calling, emailing and reaching out to them in person.
- Build relationships and manage key accounts for continuous growth.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of organization’s core value proposition.
- Develop trust and rapport with any existing opportunities and capitalize on all leads to close business quickly.
- Work with the design team to share market inputs & get things designed in timely and orderly manner.
- Work closely with the marketing team on consumer insights and advertising campaigns to promote/launch new products.
- Ensure sampling, reporting and order fulfilment as per client’s expectation.
- Execute upon existing sales strategies and ensure delivery of targets.
General responsibilities
- Ensure professionalism at all times and demonstrate exemplary prioritisation of workload skills.
- Ensure that the organization policies, SOPs and protocols are being adhered to at all levels of the company.
- Ensure strict adherence to data confidentiality and security.
- Willingness to travel frequently across organization site locations, sometimes at short notice, including other places as per need of project or the company.
- Work closely with the team and Partners.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCES AND COMPETENCIES
- Qualifications: Graduate with 4+ years’ of experience in corporate and institutional Sales preferably from textile background.
- Experience: Experience into sustainable products sales plus fashion accessories distribution houses.
- Experience of generating b2b sales from corporate, Institutions, e-com and other b2b establishments.
- Proven track record of building their own pipeline of opportunities for business development and selling into medium to large accounts.
- Should be able to manage expectation of the customer and supply chain
stakeholders. - Go getter attitude, proactive in reaching out to the customers and pitch the relevant products.
- Good networking and negotiating skills.
- Outstanding consultative selling abilities and excellent interpersonal skills with executive level customers.
- Ability to work remotely and fast turnaround time.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and staff to create results driven, team- oriented environment.
- Language: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Hindi
COMPENSATION
The gross compensation budgeted for the position is ranging from INR 7.2 to 8.4 lakhs per annum (LPA) but negotiable further to commensurate with skills, qualifications, certifications, trainings, experience and salary history. The organization also offers performance bonus, medical Insurance and fixed travel allowance.
