JOB DESCRIPTION

This is a full-time role for seeking a dynamic Associate Manager– Business Development (Franchisee) to lead franchisee sales, manage the franchisee pipeline, and oversee the project management of new franchisee operations until they achieve break-even. This role demands strong sales acumen, project management expertise, and the ability to foster meaningful partnerships with franchisees and stakeholders.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
A. Franchisee Sales and Pipeline Management

  • Develop and execute strategies to identify and onboard new franchisee partners.
  • Build a robust franchisee sales funnel by identifying potential markets, conducting market research, and engaging with prospects.
  • Present Plastics For Change’s franchisee model, including financial benefits, operational support, and social impact objectives to prospective partners.
  • Negotiate agreements and close franchisee deals in alignment with organisational objectives.

B. Franchisee Operations Project Management

  • Manage the end-to-end on boarding process for franchisee partners post-sign-off, ensuring seamless handover to operations.
  • Develop and monitor collaborative action plans, timelines, and budgets for each franchisee project.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to franchisees in operational setup, including infrastructure, staffing, and compliance requirements.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for franchisees, offering continuous support until the business achieves break-even.

C. Performance Monitoring and Support

  • Track franchisee performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.
  • Assist franchisees in meeting operational, financial, and certification requirements, including WFTO and OBP certification.
  • Facilitate training sessions for franchisee partners to align them with Plastics For Change’s ethical and sustainability standards.

D. Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Collaborate with internal teams, including operations, marketing, and social additionally, to ensure franchisees are supported across verticals.
  • Foster long-term relationships with franchisee partners to drive growth and alignmentwith organizational goals.

E. Reporting and Strategic Input

  • Provide regular updates on franchisee sales, operational progress, and challenges to leadership.
  • Contribute to the strategic growth of the franchisee program by identifying new opportunities and process improvements.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCES AND COMPETENCIES

  • Educational background: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sustainability, or a related field. MBA preferred.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in business development, franchisee sales, and project management. Experience in managing end-to-end projects and achieving operational goals.
  • Skills: Strong sales and negotiation skills with a proven ability to close deals.
  • Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building strong relationships with franchisee partners and stakeholders.
  • Analytical mindset with a focus on performance tracking and continuous improvement.
  • Other: Familiarity with sustainability, ethical sourcing, or plastics recycling sectors is a plus. Willingness to travel extensively for franchisee development and operational support.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in the local language (read, write, speak), English (read, write, speak), and Hindi (read and speak) is preferred.

COMPENSATION

The gross compensation budgeted for the position is ranging from INR 6.0 to 7.2 lakhs per annum (LPA) but negotiable further to commensurate with skills, qualifications, certifications, trainings, experience and salary history. This is a full-time role for seeking a dynamic Associate Manager– Operations. Looking for a highly committed and passionate individual who believes in bringing change in the informal recycling sector through community relations and capacity building. He/she should be passionate about grass-root field work. He/she share values and are driven to create social and economic inclusion.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
A. Stakeholder management

  • Identifying, networking, mobilising and engaging key stakeholders across the informal sector in plastic recycling industry to formal supply chain. The key stakeholders are Home Based Workers (HBW), Waste Pickers (WP), Itinerant Buyers (IB), Van Units (VU), Dry Waste Collection Centre (DWCC), Waste Pickers Community Leaders, Scrap Shops (SS), Wholesaler etc.
  • Enrolling and managing stakeholders on organization platform.
  • Building trust with stakeholders to maintain strong working relationships.
  • Increasing plastic sourcing and supply from stakeholders by ensuring ethical sourcing and fair price.
  • Facilitating management and client visits with stakeholders.

B. Capacity building

  • Conducting one-to-one capacity building to strengthen stakeholders working capacity w.r.t organization’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
  • Conducting one-to-one CRM (mobile technology) training for stakeholders.
  • Creating awareness and sensitising stakeholders on various social/govt. schemes and services, statutory compliances and policies with the help of NGO/Franchise partners.
  • Facilitating stakeholder formalisation in the sector by enabling opening bank accounts, PAN, ensuring statutory compliances, policies etc.
  • Intervention with scrap shops for behavioural change and implementing the social additionally projects.

C. Aggregation Center/Facility Management

  • Work with the facility supervisor and workers to ensure on time delivery of consignments as per schedules.
  • Implement SoPs for the aggregation, segregation, QA and QC of plastic waste stream.
  • Continuously improve SoP’s to optimize performance based on the Lean manufacturing principle.
  • Increase throughput per day per worker and yield rates by bringing individual performance based models for workers.
  • Increasing plastic sourcing and supply from stakeholders by ensuring ethical sourcing and fair price working closely with the sourcing associate.
  • Facilitate during audits, assessments, client visits and visits by HQ team.
  • To ensure site hygiene and cleanliness are maintained at all times as per required standards.
  • Work closely with the Regional teams / other verticals to find new markets / solutions for the rest of the stream.
  • Comply with requirements of deployment and sustaining sourcing charters from clients and certification bodies

D. Reporting and documentation

  • Maintaining various due-diligence and other required documentation at stakeholder level, managing, monitoring and reviewing it periodically.
  • Ensuring timely, concise and accurate reports on a daily, weekly and monthly basis on prescribed formats.
  • Ensuring timely, concise and accurate CRM updates and also ensuring stakeholders are updating it regularly.
  • Maintain case work and community work documents of stakeholders.
  • Help managers and teams to capture information from the field as and when required.

E. General responsibilities

  • Ensure professionalism at all times and demonstrate exemplary prioritisation of workload skills.

The primary role would be to generate sales of T-shirts , bags , backpacks and accessories made of recycled polyester with a environmental and social story. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Achieve given sales targets of Merchandize (T-shirts, Bags & accessories made of rPoly).
  • Develop a strong pipeline of customers with clear visibility of sales projections for the year.

This is a full-time role for Senior Manager – Sales (Recycle plastic) based remotely in India. Reporting to the CIO, the person will lead the outreach and engagement with industry partners to help make the transition from virgin plastic to ethically sourced recycled plastic.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including prospecting, lead generation, and qualification of potential clients in the International Markets.
  • Develop and execute the sales strategy for recycled plastics in the International Market (specifically North America and Europe), to achieve revenue targets and maximize market share within the plastics recycling industry.

A Cloud Specialist, particularly at Level 3 (L3), is generally expected to have advanced expertise in cloud computing technologies and services. He/She is responsible for designing, implementing, managing, and troubleshooting cloud environments to ensure optimal performance and security.

The Specialist is responsible for the advanced management and optimization of cloud infrastructure and services. KEY RESOPONSIBLITIES

CLOUD ARCHITECTURE & DESINGN

  • Design and implement complex cloud solutions to meet business requirements.

DEPLOYMENT & CONFIGURATION

  • Deploy and configure cloud services across various platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

MANAGEMENT & MONITORING

  • Monitor cloud environments to ensure optimal performance and availability.

SCURITY & COMPLIANCE

  • Implement and maintain cloud security best practices and policies.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.

TROUBLESHOOTING & SUPPORT

  • Provide L3 support for cloud-related incidents and problems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex cloud infrastructure issues.
  • Collaborate with L1 and L2 support teams for incident resolution.

CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT

  • Stay updated with the latest cloud technologies and trends.
  • Propose and implement improvements to existing cloud infrastructure.
  • Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing.

COLLABORATION & TRAINING

  • Work closely with developers, DevOps, and other IT teams to integrate cloud solutions.
  • Mentor and train junior cloud specialists and support staff.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCES AND COMPETENCIES

EDUCATION
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.

EXPERIAENCE

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud computing, with at least 2 years in an intermediate (L3) role.
  • Experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

SKILL

  • Strong knowledge of cloud architecture and services.
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation (Python, PowerShell, etc.).
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

CERTIFICATIONS
Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Google Professional Cloud Architect) are highly desirable.

ADDITIONAL INFORATION

  • This position may require on-call support and the ability to work outside regular business hours.
